     Moses Gaskins was born circa 1842. As of 1860, Moses Gaskins was also known as Major Gaskins.

     Elizabeth Squires married Harmon Gaskins, son of Thomas Gaskins and Hannah Bright, say 1777. Elizabeth Squires died circa 1827.

     Amos Squires married Mary Fulsher on 19 August 1789 at Craven County, North Carolina.¹ Amos Squires and Mary Fulsher were separated on 22 November 1794 at Craven County, North Carolina. A notice in the North Carolina Gazette dated 22 November 1794, read as follows: "Whereas my wife Mary Squers, has left my bed and board; I forwarn all persons, from trusting her on my account; as I will pay no debt of her contracting. AMOS SQUERS." Amos Squires married Mary Saunders on 26 December 1799 at Craven County, North Carolina.¹ Amos Squires died before 1801.

     Rodger Squiers married Jean (?) Rodger Squiers died circa 1772.

     Jean (?) married Rodger Squiers. Jean (?) died after 1770.

     Siddy Squires married Samuel Allcock.

     Ruth Squires married (?) Herrington.

     Aliff Squires married Joshua Cutherill say 1768.

     Joshua Cutherill married Aliff Squires, daughter of Rodger Squiers and Jean (?), say 1768. Joshua Cutherill died circa March 1781.¹

     Mary Fulsher married Amos Squires, son of Rodger Squiers and Jean (?), on 19 August 1789 at Craven County, North Carolina.¹ Mary Fulsher and Amos Squires were separated on 22 November 1794 at Craven County, North Carolina.      Ida Willis was born in 1860. She married William Franklin Gaskins, son of Riley Gaskins and Sarah Bland, on 28 October 1885 at Craven County, North Carolina.¹ Ida Willis died in 1930.

     Christine Gaskins was born circa 1851.

     Matthew Holton Jr. was born circa 1830. He married Hester Gaskins, daughter of Silas Gaskins and Elizabeth Arthur, on 26 December 1850 at Craven County, North Carolina.
